Attitude of Gratitude

What are you grateful for? You could probably name a few things. But are you consciously grateful for them each day, probably not? It’s not like you look at a loved one every day and think, “Thank god she is there in my life”. Being grateful is an important value to have. Not convinced?

Take a minute and think about every time somebody has appreciated and thanked you for doing something. Felt good right? Now think about every time you have appreciated someone who did something for you. Still felt good. So why don’t you live a life where each day you feel that kind of goodness.

Once you make such living a way of life, you might see that even on a routine day you have a number of things that you are thankful for. Your attitude towards tasks, people and even yourself might change for the better. A person who has adopted an attitude of gratitude can instantly see the silver lining in even the most trying of times. Just try it for a day. I bet life will never be the same again.
